The Pueblo Grande Museum in Phoenix, Arizona is celebrating its 85th Anniversary preserving the prehistoric Hohokam site of Pueblo Grande and opening its doors to the public as a museum. To help celebrate this remarkable achievement, the Pueblo Grande Museum Auxiliary has started a fundraising campaign on Razoo for an 85th Anniversary Commemorative art project. Local Native American artist and Museum supporter Randy Kemp, with help from his daughter Rykelle, also a known local artist, will create a unique sign commemorating this historic occasion. The 85th Anniversary Commemorative Art Project sign will replace the current sign at the Museums Washington St entrance, which is worn, badly faded, and in desperate need of replacement.

The donations from this crowdfunding campaign will provide funding for the artists' design and time, the supplies needed, and implementation. Randy and Rykelle will begin installation of the piece the beginning of September. Once the sign is complete, it will then be part of the 85th Anniversary Dinner Auction, where attendees will have the opportunity to bid on this one of a kind commemorative work of art to help raise money for the Auxiliary. All Auxiliary funds support the educational programs, exhibits, and preservation efforts at the Museum.
